Built on thermoplastic olefin technology (TPO), Surface IQ eliminates the hazardous chemistry and by products that have plagued the PVC industry since its inception. Using only water based inks and coatings Surface IQ offers a wide array of design choices using the same type of equipment that has been printing and embossing vinyl products for decades.
Design
Bold colors, striking patterns, and subtle textures all come through beautifully on Surface IQ. Besides more than a dozen standard patterns and building, custom designs are easily realized for special projects.
Performance
Groundbreaking technology ensures that Surface IQ’s performance matches its great looks. Durability, cleanability and longevity have been engineered into this high performance polymer. Surface IQ exceeds Type II vinyl performance specifications for wallcovering use. Surface IQ passes stringent anti-microbial tests and can be cleaned with aggressive anti-viral cleaners that many healthcare facilities use.
Environment
Surface IQ has been vetted by MBDC and received Cradle to Cradle Silver Certification. In addition it has received Gold Indoor Advantage certification from SCS. Surface IQ qualifies for LEED Indoor air quality credits and at its end of life can be converted to clean BTU’s through Waste to Energy facilities.
